Anthony "Lil Benny" Harley (Class of 1981): Well-known go-go musician is the Washington Metropolitan area.

Joseph Huggins (Class of 1969): Joseph Huggins was nominated by President George W. Bush and confirmed by the Senate to served as Ambassador to the Republic of Botswana and the Secretary of State’s Special Representative to the Southern Africa Development Community, a political and economic organization comprised of 14 countries in southern Africa. During his tour in Botswana, 2002-2005, Ambassador Huggins was responsible for strengthening bilateral relations and promoting trade and investment opportunities for U.S. firms. During his tenure, he oversaw the increase in bilateral trade between the U.S. and Botswana under the Africa Growth and Opportunity Act (AGOA) Initiative. Following his assignment to Botswana, Ambassador Huggins was seconded to The Corporate Council on Africa as Senior Advisor to the Financing and Capital Flows Committee where he developed strategies to increase investment flows to Africa. He also served as a liaison between the Council and multilateral organizations, African governments and the broader business community on issues related specifically to finance and capital flows. After retiring from diplomatic service, he formed The Huggins Group to work on international trade and investment issues in Africa and the Middle East.
